Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes. Virtual sessions are available anywhere via video call. In person sessions and sourcing are available within Washington state only.

  • We spend 1–2 hours moving through 2–3 rooms together — in person or by video call. We assess every corner with fresh eyes, identifying what's working, what needs to go, and what intentional additions could transform each space.

  • Just be ready to walk us through your space honestly. If you have photos of interiors you love have those handy too. The more context you can share the more tailored your Field Plan will be.

  • The Field Plan is your written guide delivered within 48 hours of your session. It outlines room by room exactly what we propose to change, specific sourcing direction, and design suggestions with clear reasoning. Think of it as a blueprint for your space, specific enough to act on immediately.

  • If you'd like us to source and install on your behalf:

    • Virtual Sourcing Guide — $75

      A curated collection of links sourced specifically for your space. Available anywhere. Delivered within 5 business days.

    • In Person Sourcing & Install — $150 per room

      We source, deliver, and install on your behalf. Minimum sourcing budget $250 collected upfront. Nothing purchased without your approval.

      Washington state only.

  • You set the budget and we work within it. The sourcing budget covers the cost of items only. Curation and install is billed separately at $150 per room. Any unused budget is returned within 5 business days of project completion.

  • Yes. If you completed The Scout within the last 30 days your $99 fee is fully transferable — bringing your Field Edit balance to $200 at booking.

  • The $99 session fee is due at booking. The Virtual Sourcing Guide and any sourcing budget are invoiced separately prior to work beginning.

  • Primarily, yes. But, VRBO, cabin rentals, and any short term rental property qualify. If you're unsure whether your space is a good fit just reach out and we'll let you know.

  • Not at all. The Field Edit works just as well for hosts just getting started as it does for those who have been listed for years and want a refresh.

  • The Scout is not a remodel. We source and select every piece with intention but installation and assembly on sourced items are only available in Washington state. We're not here to gut your space. We're here to help it become the best version of itself.
